Kitchen Refurbishment and Rear Extension in South Woodford, East London E18
Expert Crew were called into South Woodford to refurbish an old kitchen and make some space in the house for a growing family. After we visited the property a few times we advised the family to build a rear extension and completely refurbish their kitchen. The rear extension would eventually house a downstairs bathroom with a shower. The new space would also be the new home for the boiler which was originally in the kitchen. On top of this we also made space to move the washing machine/tumble dryer into the rear extension, this was also situated in the kitchen. On this project we completed gutted the old kitchen, during this process we discovered dry rot and damp which we treated and dealt with. We build a single story rear extension with a sky light and large sliding doors. We removed and kept the old patio then relaid it once the extension was completed. The rear extension and kitchen was fitted with under floor heating fed from the boiler.
Overall we were extremely happy with the results of this project. Our client wanted more space and a new kitchen, we gave them this by suggesting some simple but effective alterations to the layout of the house and kitchen. Our clients were really happy with our work they called us back to refurbish the rest of the downstairs of the house plus refurbish their upstairs family bathroom.
